Throwing in the towel on Amplify Push and Publish

So... whatever the bug is that is causing Amplify not to recognize changes in Node as of right now (and I'm pretty sure it is this one), I want to knock out more of my Russian flash cards project and spend less time futzing with this defect. So, I am hereby officially moving to simply pasting my Node code into the built-in AWS editor after editing it in VS Code. This is definitely a hassle, but at least it lets me move forward.
